I spent the last few days on the coast of Maine with some close friends. We had a wonderful time and I was fortunate to spend a few hours on the water. The weather was such that we were treated to some spectacular skies and there was plenty of wildlife around.
For me being on the ocean inspires a state of mind somewhere between peaceful and awe-struck, which in this case led to a minimalist approach for the photos I took. The strong graphics of the birds and the beautiful tones and clouds in the sky seemed to lend themselves naturally to experimentation with focus and space. I hope you enjoy them!
